After my first attempt at learning to drive 5 years ago, I didn't get behind the wheel again until June 2023. Martin quickly got me confident on the road generally again and got to work on all the learning I'd need for my test. He was always on time to pick me up, and always managed to get me back in time (despite the rush hour traffic!) - he's got really good knowledge of the roads around York. Martin is clearly a very organised instructor - he kept a reflective log of each lesson which meant that all the required learning was covered in good time and weaker areas weren't forgotten about. He has tons of really useful content on his website which means that in a sense you can practice and learn even when you're not behind the wheel. Finally and most importantly for me, Martin is a very patient guy - I never once felt a sense of exasperation from him, even when getting flustered myself.
